The Endery is a knitwear brand founded on a deep understanding of how clothing is made. Launched in 2019, the brand grew out of Harkened, a knitwear manufacturing company that has worked closely with artisans in Lima, Peru and developed long-standing expertise in knitwear production.

Rather than approaching knitwear simply as fashion, The Endery sees it as a medium for color, texture, geometry, craftsmanship, and creative expression. Every collection is shaped by technical knowledge and a respect for the people behind the making process.

Built by Knitwear Experts

The Endery's foundation comes from more than a decade of experience within Peru's knitwear industry. This production background influences everything from yarn selection and stitching to fit, finishing, and construction.

Creative Director Lindsay Degen brings an equally strong connection to the craft. Her relationship with knitting began during childhood, and she later studied knitwear design at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her experience combines traditional handcraft knowledge with contemporary design, helping shape The Endery's distinctive approach to knitwear.

Crafted in Peru

The Endery works with skilled knitwear specialists and artisans in Peru through relationships built on experience, trust, and shared craftsmanship. While many of the garments are produced using industrial knitting techniques, human expertise remains central to the process.

The brand places particular importance on natural fibers, including Pima cotton, merino, and alpaca, selected for their feel, durability, and ability to become better with wear.

Designed with Purpose

The Endery takes a thoughtful approach to fashion by making use of existing materials whenever possible. Its collections incorporate deadstock yarns, giving high-quality materials that might otherwise remain unused a new purpose.

This approach is part of a broader commitment to creating clothing that stays in wardrobes for a long time rather than contributing to unnecessary waste. The brand also encourages customers to care for, repair, and continue wearing their knitwear.
