Founded in 2012 by R Blank, Shield Your Body (SYB) was created from a unique intersection of technology, science, and personal experience. R grew up around electromagnetic field research through the work of his father, Dr. Martin Blank, and later spent more than two decades working in software engineering and technology education. That background inspired him to create practical solutions for people looking to reduce their everyday exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Our approach is grounded in education and measurable technology rather than fear or unsupported claims. We believe people should have access to clear information about EMF, understand how shielding works, and be able to make informed decisions for themselves.

SYB develops a broad range of EMF-shielding products for everyday life, including phone pouches and shields, laptop protection, apparel, baby products, bedroom solutions, bags, and other accessories. Our products are designed to integrate naturally into daily routines while maintaining the functionality of the devices people rely on.

At the foundation of our shielding technology is the Faraday cage principle, a well-established concept in physics involving conductive materials that can deflect electromagnetic radiation. SYB incorporates conductive shielding materials into practical products and independently tests its shielding products in accredited laboratories. We also believe in transparency, which is why we make testing information available so customers can evaluate product performance for themselves.

But products are only one part of our mission. We believe education comes first.
