About Imlak’esh Organics

Imlak’esh Organics is a sustainable, purpose-driven company dedicated to sourcing and distributing organic superfoods from small-scale farmers around the world. The company was created with a simple but meaningful goal: to connect people with high-quality foods while creating fairer opportunities for the communities and farmers who grow them.

The story of Imlak’esh began with co-founder Tucker and a one-way ticket to South America. After experiencing the benefits of incorporating superfoods into his own lifestyle, Tucker traveled to Peru to discover these foods at their source. His journey took him from the highlands to the rainforest, where he spent time learning from farmers, cacao growers, cooperatives, and local communities.

During his travels, Tucker discovered not only an abundance of remarkable foods, but also a major challenge facing many small producers: limited access to domestic and international markets. This inspired the foundation of Imlak’esh Organics — creating a more direct connection between the people who grow these foods and the people who want to enjoy them.

Sustainability has been central to the company's philosophy from the beginning. Drawing on Tucker's background in permaculture, Imlak’esh seeks out organic and wildcrafted ingredients produced through environmentally responsible practices. The company works with family farms, cooperatives, and small producers, with an emphasis on fair wages, community well-being, biodiversity, and responsible stewardship of natural resources.

After returning to California, Tucker and co-founder Philip launched Imlak’esh Organics. They developed eco-conscious packaging, established a certified vegan kitchen, and began introducing organic superfoods to customers along the California coast. What started with their first jar of cacao at a local market gradually developed into a growing company with relationships and sourcing connections extending throughout South America and beyond.

Today, Imlak’esh Organics continues to build its business around the principles of quality, sustainability, community, and transparency. From sourcing and production to packaging and partnerships, the company aims to make decisions with integrity and to support practices that benefit both people and the environment.

At the heart of Imlak’esh Organics is a vision for a globally regenerative food culture — one that supports communities, protects biodiversity, respects cultural rights, and encourages sustainable practices. Through thoughtfully sourced superfoods and meaningful relationships with producers, Imlak’esh continues its mission of creating a more direct and responsible connection between food, people, and the planet.
