About Hello Period

At Hello Period, we believe period care should be comfortable, sustainable, thoughtfully designed, and something people can talk about without shame.

Hello Period began with two lifelong friends, Mary and Robyn, who met at school at the age of 11. After years of friendship and very different career paths, they came together with a shared realization: traditional period care left too many people without enough choice. In 2017, that realization inspired them to create a better menstrual cup, launching what was then known as Hello Cup.

From those beginnings, Hello Period has grown into a wider range of reusable period care designed around real-life needs. Our collection now includes menstrual cups, discs, reusable pads and liners, period underwear, period swimwear, and supporting accessories. Each product is developed with comfort, functionality, quality, and long-term use in mind.

We are proud to be a female-founded New Zealand brand and to design our products with the people who use them at the center of the process. We use carefully selected materials and focus on creating practical solutions that can become a lasting part of your period routine.

But Hello Period is about more than products. We want to help make conversations about menstruation more open, positive, and normal. Through education, honest conversations, and better choices, we hope to make periods feel less like a taboo and more like the ordinary part of life they are.

Sustainability is another important part of our journey. By creating reusable alternatives to single-use period products, we aim to help people make choices that are kinder to both their bodies and the planet. We are also proud to be a certified B Corporation, reflecting our commitment to responsible business practices and meaningful impact.
