About COSMEDIX
COSMEDIX is a professional skincare brand that brings together clean ingredients, advanced formulations, natural botanicals, and luxurious textures. Founded in 1999, the brand was created by aestheticians for aestheticians and has developed its identity around professional-level skincare designed for a wide range of skin types, tones, and concerns.
From the beginning, COSMEDIX has focused on combining thoughtful ingredient selection with modern skincare science. The brand describes its philosophy through three defining principles: clean, clinical, and luxurious.
Clean. Clinical. Luxurious.
COSMEDIX believes effective skincare can also be an enjoyable part of everyday self-care. Its formulations combine carefully selected ingredients with active components and botanical extracts, while its products are designed to provide a premium skincare experience.
The brand's collection includes cleansers, toners, exfoliators, masks, serums, moisturizers, eye treatments, sunscreens, and other targeted skincare products. COSMEDIX also offers professional-oriented collections created for use in advanced skincare routines.
Created for Skincare Professionals
COSMEDIX was originally developed with aestheticians in mind. Its connection to skincare professionals remains an important part of the brand today, with products available through certified spas, aestheticians, and other professional partners as well as through the COSMEDIX online store.
The brand's professional heritage influences the way it approaches product development, education, and skincare routines, helping customers understand how different formulations can fit into their individual routines.
A History of Innovation
Throughout its history, COSMEDIX has developed proprietary technologies and formulations intended to support its approach to clinical skincare.
In 2001, the company developed its AGP Complex, a formulation technology associated with its retinol products. In 2013, COSMEDIX introduced LG-Retinex, a proprietary encapsulation technology combining retinol and retinal.
These developments reflect the company's continuing interest in combining active ingredients with formulation technology.
Celebrating Aestheticians
COSMEDIX has maintained a close connection with skincare professionals and created National Aesthetician Day in 2016 as a way to recognize their work and contribution to the skincare industry.
The brand continues to support aestheticians and professional skincare providers through its spa partnerships, professional products, education, and community initiatives.
Skincare for Every Skin Tone
Inclusivity is an important part of the COSMEDIX philosophy. The company describes itself as one of the early chirally correct skincare brands created with all skin tones in mind.
Its product philosophy is centered on creating skincare solutions that can be incorporated into routines for different skin types, tones, and concerns rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
COSMEDIX Today
More than two decades after its founding, COSMEDIX continues to develop clean, professional-level skincare through its core COSMEDIX collection, COSMEDIX ELITE, and BODY by COSMEDIX.
The brand remains focused on bringing together advanced skincare formulations, botanical ingredients, professional expertise, and a luxurious experience for customers around the world.
Our Philosophy
At COSMEDIX, skincare is about bringing together science, nature, professional expertise, and thoughtful formulation. The brand continues to build on its history of innovation while maintaining its commitment to clean, clinical, and luxurious skincare.
From its beginnings in 1999 to its current range of professional and at-home skincare products, COSMEDIX remains dedicated to creating sophisticated skincare experiences designed to help people care for their skin with confidence.
