About Alteya Organics

Alteya Organics is a family-owned Bulgarian company dedicated to organic skincare, botanical beauty, and plant-based personal care. The company was established in 1999, building on a family tradition of growing and caring for roses that dates back to the early 1900s.

At the heart of Alteya Organics is the Bulgarian Rose Valley, where the family's organic rose fields are surrounded by the mountains of Bulgaria. This region is renowned for its Rosa Damascena, the Bulgarian rose traditionally valued for its aromatic essential oil. Alteya combines this long-standing agricultural heritage with modern research and organic cosmetic formulation.

From Rose Fields to Finished Products

Alteya Organics grows and harvests roses and lavender and produces organic essential oils and flower waters through its own distillation processes. The company also works with botanical oils, extracts, and herbs sourced from the Balkan region.

Its approach brings together generations of traditional knowledge with modern scientific research. Alteya's team has studied traditional botanical preparations and the properties of organic rose oil, using this knowledge to develop skincare and personal-care products designed for contemporary consumers.

Organic Rose Skincare

Rose is at the center of Alteya Organics' identity. The brand develops skincare and personal-care products using Bulgarian rose ingredients, including rose oil and rose water, alongside other botanical ingredients.

Its collection includes facial skincare, cleansers, toners, serums, moisturizers, masks, eye care, body care, hair care, lip care, essential oils, flower waters, and selected wellness products. The brand also develops specialized collections that combine botanical ingredients with modern cosmetic science.

Tradition and Modern Science

Alteya Organics believes that traditional botanical knowledge and modern science can work together. The company's research and formulation work builds on generations of experience with roses while applying contemporary approaches to organic cosmetics.

The brand has developed its own botanical formulations, including its Bio-Damascena® concept, which incorporates organic rose oil and botanical extracts into its skincare development.

Quality and Sustainability

Quality and environmental responsibility are central to Alteya Organics' philosophy. The company emphasizes organic sourcing, responsible production, and long-term relationships with its customers, partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

Alteya's website also highlights certifications and independently audited standards associated with its products and manufacturing, including USDA Organic, NATRUE, EU Organic, and GMP certifications for applicable products and processes.

A Family Business With a Global Reach

Although Alteya Organics remains rooted in the Bulgarian Rose Valley and its family heritage, the company serves customers and business partners internationally. Its botanical ingredients and finished products are supplied to markets across Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and other regions.

From cultivating flowers and distilling essential oils to researching botanical formulations and creating finished skincare products, Alteya Organics maintains a connection between the source of its ingredients and the products it brings to customers.

Our Philosophy

For Alteya Organics, beauty begins with nature, tradition, and responsible craftsmanship. The company continues to build on its family's long history with Bulgarian roses while developing organic skincare and personal-care products for today's consumers.

With its roots in the Bulgarian Rose Valley and its focus on organic botanicals, research, quality, and sustainability, Alteya Organics brings the heritage of Bulgarian rose cultivation into modern beauty and personal care.
